Photographs

We would like to thank Raj Santhana for offering to take photos for us. Raj is a professional photographer and his offer is very valuable to us. We hope that Raj will continue to work with MDDB as his pictures would help us tell our story better. Thank you Raj and bless you. Here are some of the photos taken by Raj at our last adoption drive in Klang. Thank you Raj, from the bottom of our hearts.

MDDB: I am an animal lover myself, and we have an American Pitbull at home. What concerns me is that some people love having dog as a pet ie; when they are still a puppy coz they are so adorable, but when the dog has grown up, the owner starts slacking in their responsibilities. We have few dogs in our neighbourhood, but the owner never walks their dog, these dogs were confined within the porch area and some are caged- thats sad, very sad. Lucky my Hub takes our dog for a walk 2x a day (morning and evening). I think our dog is one one of the happiest & luckiest dogs in the neighbourhood..!

That is also our main concern and that is we also think that rescuing and rehoming isn't the solution at all. We would rather go from housing estate to housing estate as well as to speak to residents association about making the strays in their area community dogs. Once spayed and taken care off - there won't be any puppies after the adults pass on.

I think that the way some -(unfortunately alot) of people keep their doggies is not good - why insist to have them confined all day to one small area (no running space is BAD!) - they should have some time also to run free - and of course some time inside on the couch! Sure, sometimes, it may be good discipline to have he/she sit in one place for an hour or so - maybe whilst going to puppy school as part of general doggie training but not all day every day - there should be a campaign started up about this I reckon, coz people need to be educated about how to really look after their pets and give them the quality life they need.

Those pics are so sweet! All of them - really -but I have to say the last three are just soooo cute as cute can be!
