APPEAL

Dear all,
we are in a fix because our veterinary bills have shot-up sky high due to the high number of rescues we have been carrying out, especially the accidents cases. We have to settle our bills because it would not be fair to our vets if we don't, given that its the end of the year and they are after all running businesses albeit giving us good discounts. As usual, we are dependent on your generosity and are hoping that you will help us out. Please help us help the voiceless.
Donations can be made via cheques in favour of:
Community Development and Integration Initiative
and mail it to:
c/o No 48, Jalan Jeriji U8/75C, Bukit Jelutong, 40150, Shah Alam, Selangor.
Or bank into:
Community Development and Integration Initiative Bhd (654290-T)
Public Bank Account Number: 3151793708.

Cheques of any amount can also be made out directly to our vets:

THANK YOU

This group of students have always been there for us during our adoption drive. They had sung and raised funds for us at our very first adoption drive two years ago. They have done so several times since then and their latest fund raising activities for us was during our adoption drives during the Christmas period. We than them for caroling for us and bringing Christmas cheer to our adoption drives. Thank you very, very much.

Hernia Boy

Hernia Boy needs a home
This is Hernia Boy and he was an accident victim rescued in Meru, Klang several months ago. The impact of the accident had caused his diaphragm to tear and Hernia Boy's intestines were spilling into his lungs. He also suffered some injuries to his legs and he was unable to move as both his hind legs were splayed. He underwent one surgery to patch-up his diaphragm but the tear was so huge that it could not be completely stitched-up. He currently has a small hole which has resulted in a bit of his liver and intestines peeking into his lungs. Because of this Hernia Boy cannot eat big meals in a go as all of the food cannot be digested well. He has learnt to eat the kibbles we give him little by little throughout the day and is beginning to put on some weight. He is a very loving dog and if there is anyone out there who is willing to take him in and love him, please call 019-3576477.

Queen

QUEEN - Ready for adoption
QUEEN before treatment
Old pix of Queen
This is Queen and she has been with us for over a year. We rescued Queen, her two siblings and mum when the pups were less than a month old. The mother was a puppy herself and the vet said that she was less than a year old when she littered. The puppies were infected with distemper. One puppy died but Queen and another subling survived. However, Queen suffered from some skin problems but she has since been cured. Queen has been vaccinated, neutered and dewormed and is fully grown. She is small-sized and is a very alert and fun loving girl. Queen is in urgent need of a loving human family.

DOLLY- siblings have all been adopted. Spayed, dewormed and vaccinated.

WOOZY

TERROR - Was found wandering behind a coffee shop in Klang with his butt covered in blood. Tested positive for parvo - we reckon he must have been abandoned by owner after falling sick. Very naughty and entertaining. Vaccinated, dewormed and neutered.

SHANKAR - was rescued from the Klang pound in Nov 2009. Was infected with distemper but survived. Very jovial and lovable. Vaccinated, dewormed and neutered.

ROB - was found wandering around in Klang town. Vaccinated and dewormed.
PINKY - was found with her brother Bumble Bee when merely about a week old. We believe the mother must have been caught by the dog catchers.
AGGIE - was rescued in Telok Panglima Garang just as she was about to be raped by some canine gangland hooligans. She was almost a pup still and we were told by the vet it was her first heat. Very lovable. Likes to climb and sit on people's lap. Vaccinated, neutered and dewormed.
LULU - was handed over to us by another rescuer.
HERO - was handed over to us by someone who had found him wandering around in a housing estate in Klang. Adorable. Had some skin prob but healed. Vaccinated and dewormed. Love his ears.

RACHEL - was rescued in Puchong as a pup. Had a broken leg. Underwent months of treatment for that. Very hyper-active and cute. Vaccinated, dewormed and neutered.
