PINKY'S STORY

The stone that was removed from Pinky's bladder

Pinky in recovery after surgery

This is Pinky and she was rescued from the Setapak pound. We believe that Pinky was a breeder's dog who was dumped on the streets after she became too old and too sick. When we found her, she was urinating blood due to a stone in her bladder and this could be why she was dumped. Pinky has a nice personality and she shows determination whenever there is a need to do so. This was reflective one day when we were taking pictures of her and she became fed-up of the camera. She turned her back on us and remained in that position until the photo taking stopped. Pinky underwent a major surgery to remove the stone which was probably calcium deposit. She has recovered and been adopted by a retired couple and their daughter. She has also been named Buttercup and we are very happy that our Pinky has finally found a family that will love her to bits.

Those ppl who dumped their dogs after knowing them are sick or old does not deserve the dog's love... I wonder will the dump their own family members if the family member gets ill or sick too... Smarty, my dog(shih tzu) is already diagnosed with bladder + kidney stones and had undergone twice opt to removed the bladder stones as the stones in the kidney cant b remove coz smarty is 10 yrd old tis yr... But we knw he's a very smart n tough guy n we love him to bits.. We wil NEVER DUMP our dogs juz bcoz they r not healthy...

And this is why we should NEVER buy from pet shops as the money goes to support people who cage animals like Pinky up to breed them for money.

Pinky/Buttercup is so cute, three cheers for her new family! <3

Dear All,

Buttercup aka Pinky has only been with us since Saturday, and we are already feeling very loved by her. She is unconditionally loyal, utterly loving and very very sweet natured.

We're very very blessed and hope Buttercup feels the same!

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone.

Buttercup sends her nuzzles and kisses!
