One of our regular donors who lives in the UK frantically contacted us on the 27th of February 2014 after receiving a suicide note from her friend - a 58-year-old German man living in Malaysia. A copy of the suicide note was forwarded to us, and the late German man had pleaded for his dogs and cats to be rescued.
We successfully removed SEVENTEEN dogs from the late German man's home - one is placed under foster care, one rehomed during our Monthly Adoption Drive at The Summit, USJ in March, four at our place, and the remaining eleven boarded at a kennel.
We now need to remove the dogs from boarding as we promised we would. Our agreement with the management of the kennel was to remove the dogs by end of April, as the kennel needs the space to take in several long-term boarders early May. They have been very kind to allow us to keep these dogs there for this long, have taken great care of the dogs, and have been very patient with us for the delay in payments. To date, we owe them a whopping RM16,000!
We are in urgent need of foster carers or adopters to take them in temporarily or give them permanent homes. All the dogs have been vaccinated, desexed and trained. We will be at G-Pet on the 1st of May, 2014 (Thursday) at 12:00pm. If you are able to help in any way, please meet us there. The address is Lot 1, Jalan Bukit Rimau, Bukit Rimau, Shah Alam.
Donations towards their boarding fees are also urgently needed. Please refer to details below for payment methods:

While we were on our way, the police (who arrived at the scene first) confirmed the man's death, and notified us that the local council was there with private canine bounty hunting company - Vetfine - to confiscate the dogs. We immediately sent the officer in charge a copy of the late German man's suicide note which clearly stated that he could not bear to be alive to see his dogs being taken away. We are indeed very grateful that the police respected the wish of the deceased and prevented the dog catchers from capturing his dogs.
