PLEASE SEND HIM POSITIVE VIBES
Our accident victim is now at the animal hospital in Gasing Indah, Petaling Jaya. The vet has diagnosed him as suffering from diaphragmatic hernia due to the impact of the accident. This means there is a tear in the diaphragm - which is the muscle that separates the abdominal organs from the heart and lungs. Therefore the innards are now entering his chest cavity because of the tear. He also has a fractured femur and thigh bone. According to the vet the diaphragmatic hernia surgery cannot wait. He said the femur fracture isn't serious and the bone can mend by itself whilst the thigh bone needs either a pin or a plate. He says the pin costs RM700 and the plate RM1,500 and we have to decide which one after the hernia surgery is over and done. The poor boy is weak as this is one of the effects of the hernia. He has been scheduled for the hernia operation Sunday July 18. We are desperately hoping that he'll make it. We would be very grateful if anyone living in Petaling Jaya can go and visit him at the clinic. Call 019-3576477 for details.

How is the dog now?
Hello there. I'll be praying for him as well!!! Hope he'll make it. By the way, I'm curious how do you guys cover the expenses? Is there any fund being raised? Perhaps i can contribute as well.
Dear MDDB,
I would like to be more proactive donor in the long term.
i have done internet banking last month to transfer funds for donations, but i did not receive any form of acknowledgment to know if it is received.
Before i could proceed further to help, are there any means where we could get receipt or get to know the monthly financial status of the shelter?
I totally understand that MDDB is NGO & there isnt too many manpower to do so, especially when you guys are so involved in saving the strays.
But from my point of view, before we could have the confidence to assist further, there need to be some sort of respond to know if the money has been helpful enough.
You have stated the vet fees etc which are needed. But do we know the monthly negative balance so we could assist accordingly & realistically. My meagre donation might be too insignificant, but i have contacts to ask for corporate donations.
Lastly, thank you so much for your heroic act.
A.F.
You can come to our adoption drive to make donations and get a receipt on the spot. Our monthly expenses are listed on the page interface. You are also welcome to go through our accounts with our accountant or company secretary upon appointment. If you want acknowledgment of your internet banking - ytou have to inform us of the date and amount so that we can check it against our bank statement. You are also welcome to ask our vets the amount we owe them.
