CRUELTY AGAINST DOGS AT ITS WORST
The biggest animal abusers in the country are without doubt the local councils. MDDB had been involved in several local council pound exposes and had organised our first demonstration at the DBKL pound in Setapak. In some of the other pound pictures, the water and food containers and the kibbles were also supplied by us to the pounds after we found out that the dogs were not fed anything or given water to drink for days. Let us remember these sad animals who probably all perished in these pounds. Let us also remember that many of them were pets who had been left unclaimed at the pound by their irresponsible owners.
STOP CRUELTY AGAINST DOGS PERPETRATED BY THE LOCAL COUNCILS!!!!!!

Hi. Appreciate what u have done to help these animals but what i don't understand is why are there so many dogs there. agree dbkl shouldn't treat the dog that way. but what i think we should concern is that out there there's people who irresponsible in keeping their dogs.
"Animals are now more than ever a test of our character, of mankind's capacity for empathy and for decent, honorable conduct and faithful stewardship. We are called to treat them with kindness, not because they have rights or power or some claim to equality, but in a sense because they don't; because they all stand unequal and powerless before us."- Matthew Scully in Dominion
I am a nice doggie who lives in Klang with my mummy Lily and sister Shalini Kiki-Mae as well as my human companions. I am also the official representative for the Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better project which is a canine welfare initiative spearheaded by non-profit outfit Community Developement and Integration Initiative (CDII). I enjoy my job but wish I could participate in protests and rescue missions as well. However, my human tells me that I best stay back and manage this blog. Sigh!
