PLEASE HELP US HELP THIS POOR PUP

This five-month old Labrador puppy was sent to be put to sleep by her new owners after they found that she was blind. She has cataract in one eye and has very minimal sight in the other. She is a very loving pup and we strongly believe that she should be given a chance to live. She is being cared for by one of our friends after we felt that she would be better in a home environment than in our half-way-home. We are hoping to surgically restore her sight at least in one eye but have been told that the procedure is rather expensive. Given this, we implore you to help us help this poor little girl.

A friend's dog which was caught and released by the dog catchers after the owner went practically on her knees begging for her pet back. They had used a wire loop which had entangled in the dog's mouth.

We are simply fed-up that local councils are still very very primitive in their methods of countering the overpopulation of strays. The best way ever would be to implement the trap-neuter-release method instead of hunting down stray dogs and sentencing them to death. But getting this across to the local councils or the state government is akin to speaking to a thick, thick, thick wall. So, we have decided to embark on a signature campaign which will be presented together with a memorandum to his Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor. We believe that Tuanku is our only hope to make the local councils implement a more humane method, more so that we have been told that certain local councils will be using poisoned chicken parts to murder feral dogs which are difficult to catch! Would you like to be Duke's human?

This is Duke and he was rrescued from the Setapak pound. He was wearing a collar when we found him. He understands English and is well-behaved. We find him depressed and I think that this is because he misses his humans. We are however, not able to find his humans and are now hoping that someone will give him a good home and help him get over the hurt. Dear people,

we are in big trouble has our funds have been wiped out after several of our rescued dogs tested positive for distemper. They are all on medication to boost the immunity and this is is rather expensive.

Furthermore, we have been coming across many many syray puppies and we have been told this is the post-mating season!

Keeping them pending adoption has also taken a toll on our funds.

Until we are able to consolidate monthly grants from corporate donors, we have no choice but rely on members of the public to help us out.

Therefore, we are once again appealing for donations to help us help the dogs.
