Please help

The Klang Municipal Council will be putting 40 dogs down on the 15th. Can we all get together to save the lives of these dogs? MDDB proposes that all of us set out to find people who can take on or two of these dogs in temporarily. Once they are out of the pound, we will neuter them and get those which are adoptable adopted. Those that no one wants to adopt will be sent to some sanctuaries as well as farms willing to take them in. Please help. by pulling off this exercise - not only are we saving their lives but also pushing across the message that alaysians will no longer tolerate such cruelty. The local councils have no business putting dogs down when they do not have a proper system to manage the strays. They are finding the easy way out. Dear Peeps,

I am having sleepless nights, as you can see. We have scores of sick puppies as well as some with skin conditions. Several have been adopted by kindly people who understand that rescued puppies come with problems and need veterinary treatment. Knowing that we depend on donations. they have adopted these pups and have taken on the task of paying for their veterinary care. But there are about ten puppies which are still with us and need veterinary care. One puppy, infected with corona virus, suffered from a prolapsed anus due to severe diarrhea. It is being treated at our vet. Others have recovered from the virus but are weak and are currently being fed with immune boosters to build their strength. We also have several adult dogs, including an accident victim with a smashed leg, to care for. We also have a brother and sister that will have to go to the same home as the brother is partially blind and depends on his sister a lot. Waiting for someone who is willing to take the pair will take take time and we would have to pay for board till then. All these need money and we are once again asking for your help to help these dogs. So please kind people, send your loose change our way so that we can continue helping these unfortunate dogs and puppies.

URGENT APPEAL

We are concerned about a six-month old puppy which is currently at the Ara Damansara clinic. It has distemper which is getting worse - with the eyes cloudy.

There is still hope for this poor puppy but according to friends who went to administer ozone therapy - the condition which the puppy is being kept at the clinic will only make it worse.

The puppy is kept in a closed-up room which is also only cleaned when the clinic's helper has completed all other chores - and this is more often than not late in the afternoon or even evening.

The vets also attend to the puppy only after they have completed all their work and this is also late in the afternoon or evening.

The windows of the room is also kept shut and this is resulting in the puppy not having clean air to breathe.

It is unfortunate that the vets are so spooked that the puppy's well-being is being compromised.

Another much experienced vet has offered to admit the puppy in his clinic and administer treatment until its condition is stable - we hope that someone will take the poor puppy in and nurse it back to health after the kind vet has stabilised it.

We have placed several infected dogs and puppies in foster homes and they appear to be doing better and on the way to recovery.

Therefore, we are hoping that someone would come forward to help nurse this puppy back to health in their home.

The said puppy had gone through a lot of trauma at the pound and therefore deserves a chance to live.

Please help save this unfortunate puppy's life.

Dear Peeps,

my human friends are concerned about some of the young dogs and puppies at the DBKL pound and want to remove them from there. However, Auntie Dr Kavitha and Auntie Dr Gowri's place is jam packed. So we are in desperate need of fosterers who would take these dogs in for a period of three weeks to a month pending our gigantic adoption drive set to be held early March. If you can't foster these dogs, you could sponsor their board at veterinary clinics. Auntie Tracy has started the ball rolling by pledging RM300 to support two puppies. We are also in dire need of funds to spay, neuter, vaccinate and deworm these dogs pending adoption. Some of these dogs are also in need of medical care.

So, please kind people - plesae help me help my brothers and sisters.
